The balm- New Eyeshadow palette 'Meet Matte Trimony'

Hi dolls!

Today's blog post is about The Balm cosmetics new eyeshadow palette 'Meet matte Trimony'. If you haven't guessed already this is a all matte eyeshadow palette consisting of nine beautiful versatile shades.

It is very rare that you can come across a very good matte eyeshadow palette or matte shadows that are not chalky and blend beautiful, as mattes tend to be a little harder to blend at times than shimmer shadows. So when i swatched these shadows i was very impressed at how these shadows had an incredibly velvety smooth texture, triple-milled formula and true-to-pan payoff! Will definetly be using this in alot of my makeup looks as i do love some good matte shadows!

What i love most about this palette is how it has some amazing warm tone shades that work perfectly in the crease and transition shades 'Matt Evans' and 'Matt Lopez' are your perfect crease shades and very similar to MakeUp Geek cosmetics 'Creme Brulee' which i absoulutely love!

Below are swatches of all the shades from Left to Right; Matt Lin, Matt Thomas, Matt Rosi, Matt Lopez, Matt Kumar, Matt Moskiwitz, Matt Evans, Matt Reed, Matt Ahmed.

This palette has just launched March 2016 and retails for around £37.50.
It can be purchased direct from The balm online, however alot of major retailers such as Debenhams Beauty, Superdrug and FeelUnique all stock the balm products so it can also be purchased from there too. :)

Caked Makeup- New liquid to matte lipsticks

Today's post is going to be about one of my all time favourite lip products- Liquid to Matte lipsticks! Yes..liquid lipsticks are currently huge and have taken over the makeup world with alot of brands bringing out their versions of liquid to matte lipsticks. Now i have tried alot of different liquid lipstciks with all sorts of different colour ranges, formulas and textures but all do more or less the same thing.

Caked makeup is a newly released US brand that just launched on the 14th february 2016 (Valentines day!) and they are a 'streetwear inspired makeup company that blends dope style, urban culture & sweet treats into one'.

What stood out to me the most when i swatched these liquid lipsticks is how similar they were to Stila's liquid lipsticks... And stila is definetly one of my favourites when it comes to liquid lipstick as their formula is one of the best! I have previously reviewed stila's Xmas holiday 2015 liquid lipstick sets and i have mentioned before how much i love them so i am so delighted that their is now another brand that has just as amazing liquid to matte lipsticks with not only a great selection of colours but the formula and staying power is pretty amazing too.

Swatches of all the liquid lipsticks (just one swipe, very pigmented!), they are waterproof and smudgeproof infact i could only remove them with some makeup remover they are that long-lasting and opaque.

Not only that but they are also 100% Vegan and cruelty free!

Products can be purchased online at - www.caked.co

Tatcha Beauty Skincare

Hi beauties!

I have a great post to share with you all today and it is going to be all about skincare! Yes as much as i love makeup and new makeup products, i do believe what is underneath is very important and good skincare is just as important if not more.
I am so excited about coming across this amazingly luxurious japanese skincare company called 'Tatcha' - simple, time-tested beauty rituals of the Japanese geisha.
Victoria Tsai created the line after suffering from acute dermatitis and developed a keen awareness about the importance of ingredients used on the skin.

Pure one step camellia cleansing oil- Is a beautiful blend of Camellia and Rice Bran oils. A gentle, two-in-one makeup remover and cleanser that melts away even waterproof makeup, leaving behind purified, silky soft skin.

Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum- This weightless serum offers instantly-visible firming, reduces puffiness, and plumps hydration to diminish fine lines. This also contains a cooling ceramic applicator and fine dust of 23-karat gold which brightens and diminishes shadows under the eyes without adding shimmer. No wonder it Retails at a whooping $95 (roughly £67)!

Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream- is a long-lasting anti-aging moisturizer. A Luxurious and weightless gel-cream formula of Silk extracts. This is ideal for normal/combination skin, and i have been using this religiously since i got it and i love it! It's so hydrating and feels amazing on the skin.
Oh and have you noticed how pretty the packaging is?! It has a fabric bow on the lid and i love the theme colours of white, purple and gold very sophisticated.

Next up is Polished classic rice enzyme powder- This exfoliates and tones the skin without harsh abrasives for a smooth, bright and baby-soft skin.
The way to use this is to pour about half a teaspoon into your hands, add water and rub your hands together to create a creamy foam, then just massage gently onto your wet face in circular motions then just rinse. Loving this it really does leave your skin extremely soft!

And now on to the best bit my favourite product, the GOLD camellia beauty oil. This is a light and rich beauty oil for your face and contains 24-karat gold flakes to give the skin a sensual glow. I can't tell you how amazing this smells and i love applying this without makeup or even before applying makeup as it just gives me a beautiful glow, you only need a drop or 2 so this stuff will last you a long time.

Overall i am extremely impressed with Tatcha skincare products and i can't believe i have not tried their products sooner! They are a luxurious skincare brand so i will add that they are a bit on the high-end in regards to price, but i feel it is worth it considering the products are truly amazing.
All Tatcha skincare products can be bought online www.tatcha.com
They also offer worldwide shipping so you are able to purchase these products from where ever in the world you are from.

Thank you for reading, and untill next time... Take care beauties! Xx
