New Gerard Cosmetics Supreme Lip Cremes

Gerard's cosmetics have done it again with another great launch of their brand new Supreme Lip Cremes in new stunning shades. I have previously reviewed the lip cremes when they were launched and the formula is pretty much the same so it's abit like a gloss but not as sticky or tacky yet pigmented like a lipstick. Ideallly this is great for anyone who is not a fan of matte lipsticks or if you have very dry lips in general and try to stay clear of matte lipsticks then these lip cremes are for you!
Personally i am not to keen on glosses but do perfer matte lipsticks especially liquid to matte lipsticks.

Along with bringing out new shades to add to the supreme lip creme collection, Gerard cosmetics have collaborated with a Beauty Vlogger known on youtube and Instagram as 'WhatWouldLizzyDo' to bring out a new shade 'Destiny'.
It is a stunning rose mauve colour which would compliment many skintones.
The other new shades added to the collection are; Envy, Maneater, Electric Rose and Wonderland.

Below are some pictures and swatches of the new colours.

Overall I do like these lip cremes as sometimes you just want to switch up your look and go for glossy lips rather than matte lips all the time!
If you are intrested in purchasing these lipsticks....All Gerard cosmetics Products can be purchased online www.Gerardcosmetics.com You can use discount code 'Simmys' for 25% off your entire order and recieve free US shipping, or spend $35 or more to recieve free international shipping. Alternatively you could always click the sale tab and get all 5 supreme lip cremes for $40 (The code above will not apply as this is a already reduced bundle). Happy shopping! :)

Pixi Beauty- Pixi by Petra

Hi dolls!
So i have been trying out some new Pixi Beauty products for a few weeks now and i have to admit this is a brand that has grown on me so much i love their products especially the skincare products. I am already a huge fan of the beauty flawless primer (My go to primer!)  and the H2O Skindrink, pure hydration gel which is now my daily everyday moistouriser.

Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist- This prolongs makeup wear and prevents it from moving all day, has a Rose water and green tea balance for a comfortable feel. I was quite lucky to get a chance to try this  setting spray as i have hurd great reviews and wanted to try this out for myself... So My thoughts? Well firstly i love how this actually 'mists' gently on to your face, smells absoulutely gorgeous and my makeup did stay put all through the day. But i'm not sure if thats down to the fact i use a makeup primer too, i will be trying this out in the more warmer humid days to see if my makeup actually does stay put without moving!

Hydrating Milky serum- Another favourite of mine- a revitalising skin boost. This serum intensely hydrates and protects the skin, improving its elasticity. With a silky smooth lightweight texture, the lotion gives a burst of hydration without a heavy feel.
I love using this when i feel that my skin is  feeling alot dryer than usual or adding one or 2 drops to my foundation for a more dewy and glowy finish.

Beauty Blush Duo in Peach Honey- includes a mini kabuki brush.
This is a blush and Highlighter duo for a flawless lit-from-within glow. The powder has a super silky finish which naturally diffuses light when applied on the highest points of your face such as cheekbones, brow bone, cupids bow and anywhere else you like to apply highlighter.

Tinted Brilliance balm in 'Baby Bare' - this is Pixi's award winning peachy- nude balm which envelops lips in lush colour! I found this to be extremely hydrating  perfect to wear alone or you could apply lipstick on top. I also found that when the formula wears off my lips still stayed very soft and slightly tinted.

Lash line ink in Black Silk- A deep Black ink liner with a flexible precision tip that deposits colour directly onto lashline. Quick drying, non- feathering and water- resistant.
Now to be honest i have never really been a fan of felt tip eye liners ever, as i find they don't really give a neat finish and can dry up while your still using it- I usually perfer gel liners or liquid liners. However i was pleasantly suprised at how easy this was to work with- not the most blackest of liners that i have ever used but nevertheless still a good eyeliner pen.

Moistourising cleansing cloths- loving these makeup removing cloths! These cloths Hydrate and refresh your skin and
are pre-moistened so they gently lift away impurities from the day, whilst refining and conditioning the skin. Perfect for on-the-go use, the cloths purify while removing dirt and oil. Also Infused with Aloe Vera and Camellia Oil, each cloth soothes the skin, leaving it clean and nourished.
Each pack contains around 40 cloths and are great to remove makeup with, however i would recommend not to use makeup remover wipes alone when removing makeup but to use a cleansing oil too in order to make sure your skin is throughly cleaned with all traces of make up gone!

So that's my Pixi Beauty must have products, all products can be purchased directly online from www.pixibeauty.co.uk or other beauty websites that stock pixi products such as Beauty Bay, Cult Beauty, Look Fanatastic. Most of these sites also offer free shipping!!

OPV Lashes- New 'Gorgeous' Eyeshadow palette

Hi dolls!

So i know i have not blogged in ages, it's just been a busy kinda month and i cannot believe how quickly it has passed by, as we are now nearly towards the end of the month!!

So today i decided to review the beautiful new eyeshadow palette from OPV Lashes. This brand does not fail to suprise me with their incredible products that started from brushes to lashes, liquid lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes and many many more!

So this particular palette is called 'Gorgeous' and quite rightly so as this palette is just soo pretty and right up my street! I love warm tone shadows in general and always find myself drawn to warmer tones so this palette is just perfect! It also includes a few pops of colour which is great to use on lower lashlines or inner corner for a subtle way to add colour in to your look.
Furthermore this palette does Remind me alot of the ever so popular Morphe 350 palette that is always out of stock. The only thing the morphe palette does not have and this palette does is a matte black. I personally think every palette should come with a good matte black as you always need it to add depth or to deepen outer corners, lashlines etc so i am glad to find a matte black in this palette.

This palette is extremely pigmented as you can see from the swatches, you only need a little bit of product so be sure to be light handed as the colour pay off is insane which is great as i hate having to keep building up colour.

I have used the palette in a few makeup looks so be sure to check out my instagram page @simmysbeauty for makeup looks, mini tutorials and product details.

This palette is available online: www.opvhair.com retails for around £19.99/ $28 and they ship worldwide.

New Luxury Brush- AYVA Brushes

Hi Beauties!

So i was sent a gorgeous luxury brush from a new UK based company called AYVA Brushes, that i decided to dedicate a whole post on this particular brush! Yes it is ABSOULUTELY Stunning!!!

So AYVA have just launched May 2016 and their mission is to create a brand that gives customers a wide range of cutting-edge Makeup Brushes and Accessories that not only delivers exceptional results but is also stunning in design.

So far they have only launched one brush (A06) as instead of launching a complete line they made the conscious choice to create quality instead of quantity.

Furthermore they believe great makeup should be achievable to everyone, and it is for that very reason, they created a brush that is simple to use, ensures makeup application is better than ever, and is not only for the professional Makeup Artists, but all Makeup Lovers!!

So the A06 brush is a densely packed brush with over 100,000 animal free ultra-fine bristles, comes with a luxuriously comfortable handle. This amazing brush is made to ensure  flawless application, with an immaculate airbrushed finish. Ideal for foundation or concealer.

This particular brush retails for around £29.50 and can be purchased online at www.ayvabrushes.com

Mellow Cosmetics

Hey dolls!

Today's blog post is about a new brand called 'Mellow Cosmetics' - this brand is all about Bold, luxurious and Chic makeup products that every woman would want to use!

The main thing that appealed to me about Mellow cosmetics is their passion for lip products and how incredibly great quality they are. They have a very beautiful range of creamy matte lipsticks to liquid lipsticks.
You will also be pleased to know that they are also Cruelty Free, Vegan and Paraben Free.

Below are swatches of the liquid lipsticks. Love the formula, very pigmented and opaque, long-lasting, apply smoothly and they dont crack or dry out your lips.

I love how they have got a great selection of brown Nude shades, they have got the colours spot on as these colours are very popular and a great trend lately. 'Paris' is just a beautiful bold classic red that i believe everyone needs in their collection!

All products can be purchased http://www.mellowcosmetics.com
They ship worldwide! :)

BeBella Cosmetics

Hi beauties!

So i have just come across a new US brand 'Bebella cosmetics' which to me seem very similar to 'Morphe brushes' and wanted to share some of their new products.
Bebella remind me ALOT of morphe brushes as they tend to have the same concept and style when it comes to their makeup products, such as the 35 pan eyeshadow palettes that come in that same black sleek style of packaging.
The brushes are great quality, very sturdy and the bristles are extremely soft.
They have just launched two new palettes to their already great collection of makeup palettes. The most popular being their new Glow Dust palette which contains 6 beautiful highlighters. One of the shades in the palette seems more like a shimmer bronzer than a highlight, and i love that their is a great mixture of different tone highlights, perfect for lighter and darker complexions.
Furthermore i think this palette would be a great dupe for ABH 'that glow' palette as far as the colour range is concerned as the palette has alot of warm toned golden highlighters, which is great as everyone is totally crazy about gold highlighters these days, not to mention it would be perfect for summer. The only negative thing i could say is, the highlighters in the palette are not as finely milled as the ABH glow palettes... so they can emphasise any pores you may have, alternatively you could always just be sure to apply a poreless primer before makeup application.

The eyeshadow palette is the B35H and has a nice mixture or warm and cool tone shadows but mainly warm which i love! Also has a great selection of mattes, shimmer, satin and metalic shadows. I have swatched the shadows below and the colour pay off is incredible they are very pigmented, buttery smooth and easy to blend.

All products can be purchased exclusively online direct from www.bebellacosmetics.com they also offer worldwide shipping!

The balm- New Eyeshadow palette 'Meet Matte Trimony'

Hi dolls!

Today's blog post is about The Balm cosmetics new eyeshadow palette 'Meet matte Trimony'. If you haven't guessed already this is a all matte eyeshadow palette consisting of nine beautiful versatile shades.

It is very rare that you can come across a very good matte eyeshadow palette or matte shadows that are not chalky and blend beautiful, as mattes tend to be a little harder to blend at times than shimmer shadows. So when i swatched these shadows i was very impressed at how these shadows had an incredibly velvety smooth texture, triple-milled formula and true-to-pan payoff! Will definetly be using this in alot of my makeup looks as i do love some good matte shadows!

What i love most about this palette is how it has some amazing warm tone shades that work perfectly in the crease and transition shades 'Matt Evans' and 'Matt Lopez' are your perfect crease shades and very similar to MakeUp Geek cosmetics 'Creme Brulee' which i absoulutely love!

Below are swatches of all the shades from Left to Right; Matt Lin, Matt Thomas, Matt Rosi, Matt Lopez, Matt Kumar, Matt Moskiwitz, Matt Evans, Matt Reed, Matt Ahmed.

This palette has just launched March 2016 and retails for around £37.50.
It can be purchased direct from The balm online, however alot of major retailers such as Debenhams Beauty, Superdrug and FeelUnique all stock the balm products so it can also be purchased from there too. :)
